Contents & The Build

Dumping out the contents, you get three bags of LEGO pieces. There is a small instructions booklet. What's interesting is that you also get a Chinese Red Packet / Red Pocket / Red Envelope showing the 2021 LEGO Year of the Ox 40417 set.

Complete Built Set

The build for LEGO 40417 Year of the Ox consists of three sections. You first build the body. After which, you build the head. The final component is the base.

Overall Thoughts

This set took me about 25 minutes to build (includes sorting the pieces). It is a nice promo gift set from LEGO which is just in time for the 2021 Lunar New Year and 2021 Chinese New Year. This LEGO Year of the Ox set would look great if its put on display.
