We just applied a security patch (IPS Community Suite 4.5.4.2) that was released on April 22, 2021 to the forum. It fixed up some of the vulnerabilities of the forum. Security Fixes an XSS vulnerability when quoting posts and comments. Fixes an XSS vulnerability when lightbox images are built. This release also contains the patch from 4.5.4 that resolves a security issue with the Downloads REST API Core Fixed an issue moving Icons & Logos to a new storage handler when one or more of the images is broken. Fixed an issue when logging in with LinkedIn. Toysnbricks.com (LEGO News and LEGO Sales Updates) is our main focus for now. You can get the latest LEGO news updates over there. The back of the box shows some more details regarding each New York City building that you will get to build in the set. The top of the box shows the actual size of the LEGO microfigure. In this case, the LEGO microfigure is the Statue of Liberty. Contents & The Build Inside the box, there's the instructions booklet and a LEGO Architecture product survey leaflet. You'll be entered into a draw to win a prize if you do the survey. The instructions booklet has pages explaining each building. Here, it talks about the One World Trade Center that was built in 2013. There are 6 bags of LEGO pieces in the set. Here are the pieces sorted out. You get an orange brick separator in this set. It took me about 10 minutes to sort the pieces out. You get cool pieces in this set including the LEGO microfigure which would be used as a Statue of Liberty. You also get a printed piece for New York City. LEGO sometimes gives us a sticker instead so its definitely a plus its a printed piece this time. You first start off building the base of the set. After completing the base, you build the Statute of Liberty. This is probably the simplest build out of the 5 landmarks that you build. The next building is the Empire State Building. Chrylser building is up next. You then build the Flatiron building. This is probably the second simplest landmark to build after the Statue of Liberty. Here is the back of the Flatiron building. Finally, you build the One World Trade Center. You get some spare pieces including an extra Statue of Liberty microfigure. Complete Built Set This is the complete New York City LEGO Architecture set. The tallest building in the set is the One World Trade Center followed by the Empire State building. Both of these buildings took the longest to build out of the 5 landmarks. The landmarks are all detachable which is a nice touch. Here is the view looking at the skyscrapers from the Statue of Liberty side. Finally, here's the view from top. Set Ratings Design: 9/10 Build: 9/10 Minifigures: N/A Playability: 8/10 Parts: 8.5/10 Price: 8/10 Overall rating: 8.5/10 Overall Thoughts This set took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes to build (includes sorting the pieces). Like most of the LEGO Architecture sets, its not really a set that you play with. After you have finished building it, its used for display purposes. The instructions booklet has some nice featured pages for the landmarks which is great. Though, it is a small set despite the price that you are paying. There's 598 pieces but majority of them are quite small. However, its still an awesome set. Overall, the set shows New York City quite well and is instantly recognizable. Great for adults and for displaying!

It shows the drink stand and a tree along with the minifigures skating. Contents & The Build There are 4 bags of pieces in the box. In the of the bags, there is another smaller bag which makes the total number of bags to be 5. Here are the pieces after being sorted. Here are the minifigures. You get a female and a male minifigure. They have nice torso printing on them. They also have alternative faces as well. You first start off building the base of the set. You then build the skating rink. Complete Built Set The set is then completed with building the drink stand, the trees and the lamp post. Below is the completed set. The minifigures have one foot attached to the LEGO piece for spinning action while the other foot has the ice skates on. Here is the back view of the set. You can spin the set two ways. One is on the side with the blue piece and the minifigures would circle around the entire skating rink. Another function is the fountain which you can spin as well. The minifigures then spin in smaller circles. Though, the fountain spinning function doesn't spin as well. It has a nice drink stand with Christmas Wreath on top, cups and a money bill. The trees are decorated with snow as well. Here are the extra pieces from the set. The holiday promo sets usually this time of the year are very nice. It has lots of details and features. There are also no stickers which is a huge plus. This set is comparable to the Charles Dickens set. Contents & The Build Inside the box, there are 4 bags. One of the larger bags contains a smaller bag as well. This means that there are total of 5 bags of LEGO pieces. Here is the instructions booklet. There is also a stickers sheet. It would have been nice if they were printed pieces instead of stickers. However, designing and producing these printed pieces for this set only would probably be too costly. The pieces organized by color. It took me about 6-10 minutes to sort this out. You first start off building the minifigures. The front of the three minifigures including Charles Dickens. The child minifigure has an alternative face. The back of the three minifigures. You start off first building the base of the set which is a book. The first stickers are applied on the book binding. Here, you can see the storage slot. The drawer has more stickers on it. This is the book with the drawer closed. After the base of the book is built, you start building the floor. More stickers are applied. The walls have stickers. Though, the detail is pretty nice. You also put a sticker for the picture frame on top of the fireplace. Complete Built Set Here is the interior view of the set. There is a fireplace with candles and Christmas Wreath on top. There is also a Christmas tree. The back of the house shows some nice details on the walls and the roof. The outside of the house has a tree and a lamp post. Finally, here is the complete set with the minifigures, box and instructions. These are the pieces used for the set. Here are the spare pieces. It is a really nice set with lots of details. The minifigures are pretty cool as well. You can also put some stuff in the storage area. The only issue with this set is that I would have preferred printed pieces rather than stickers. That's the only drawback. Gelo has poseable and adjustable legs. M.V.P. is quite cool as he runs on wheels and has two different features. The first feature is the crane function. You can also change the feature up to be a turret shooter. You can press on the shooter and it fires the cyan pieces out. Tricky can carry a mini red ball. Unfortunately, he cannot be in a position that is mid-way like how the box art shows him. Its either he puts it on the ground or lifts it all the way up. If you want it to presented like the box art, you need to hold onto the arms. Complete Built Set The complete line up of all 5 mini robots in the set. These are the extra pieces left in the set. There are some Technic pieces which brings more variety to the build. Overall, its a neat set and probably a must have if you have the larger LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor set.
