27 Most Expensive LEGO Sets Ever Released In The World
Ice replied to Toys N Bricks's topic in LEGO Resource Articles
Although I haven't watched Lord of the Rings, that set does indeed look really nice and detailed. This is a good one. Very realistic and has lots of cool features and minifigures for Star Wars fans. The Daily Bugle is really popular and sells well. I think the new UCS Jabba Sail Barge looks great too but the price point is very high for that set. But if you are a LEGO Star Wars fan, there's no doubt you gotta get it too. 😉 -
Hi Sphinxa, welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing your review. Glad to hear you enjoy this LEGO Bricklink The Art of Chocolate set. Your review has been front paged on Toysnbricks.com. 🙂

Ice replied to Ice's topic in Community & LEGO Contests
The next building contest will most likely be related to Star Wars and it will be announced soon. After which, we will probably have a Jurassic World contest. Though, nothing is set in stone yet. -

Hi Marshallmario, Thank you for your suggestion and feedback. I have added a new "spoiler hide content" button when writing new posts in the forums. It is available for everyone to use. When a section has the spoiler implemented, it will not be shown until a user presses on the hidden content section. Going forward, we can try to have some of the longer resource articles collapsed until a user wants to see it. In addition, I have added a new category just for Toys N Bricks "LEGO Resource Articles". They will no longer be part of the "General LEGO Discussions" category.

A new category for LEGO MOC Creations has now been created. Feel free to share any LEGO creations there. Thanks for the suggestion Bonnie. I will also be moving this current existing "Ask for Feedback" topic to the Administration section.
-
Hi Bonnie, do you mean providing feedback for the site? Feedback topics can be either be posted on the admin section of the forums or I can create a specific thread for it as well. Thanks!
-
Hi Marshallmario, that's a great suggestion. A lot of LEGO sets these days have stickers. It's unfortunate LEGO doesn't print the pieces out. But they do that usually to cut cost. Feel free to write some LEGO reviews here. 🙂

Hi Marshallmario, Thanks for contributing and being helpful in the forums. Yes, you need to enter in the entries contest thread over here below: https://toysnbricksforum.com/index.php?/topic/210-entries-top-most-helpful-forum-member-until-april-1-2025/ So far, no one has entered for the Top & Most Helpful Forum Member Contest yet. Ice replied to Toys N Bricks's topic in General LEGO Discussions

Hi Bonnie, thanks for your introduction and welcome to Toys N Bricks. LEGO is a great toy that allows creativity. That's really impressive that you build a LEGO project for each country that you visited. If you have any questions about the forums or the site, feel free to reach out and let me know! See you around the forums.

Hi Amara50 / Lisa, welcome to Toys N Bricks! I've separated your post from Bonnie Mohnsen's intro and created an individual topic for your introduction. During the COVID lockdown, it was definitely a stressful time for everyone. I'm glad to hear that you are now getting back into LEGO. The elf workshop looks great! Thanks for sharing. Hope to see you around the forums. 🙂

Hi Raguidel and legobrandon, that's a great question! To make things not as complicated, the sets should be labelled as 18+. That being said, I understand that some older sets used to be labelled at a younger age range. If you have an older set targeted towards adults but is labelled under aged 18+, you can ask in this forum topic here for approval. Once its been approved, be sure to post in your entry that you got approved from the admin (so other forum members don't get confused). Generally speaking, I would approve the modular buildings such as LEGO 10182 Cafe Corner (Aged 16+). This set was released back in 2007. Hope this helps and I wish you both the best in the building contest!
-
Hi Water Snap, 1. You can have one entry for this contest. Other creations that you create can be shared in the other section of the forums. 2. Maximum number of pieces is 300. There is really no scale but usually most 18+ sets are pretty big in size. Having to build it all in 300 pieces is already pretty much microscale. Hope this answer your questions. If you have more questions, feel free to let us know. Good luck on the contest!
